Apostille Services
In certain cases your documents may need to be apostilled. The Department of Foreign Affairs is the main competent authority within the Irish jurisdiction which confirms a signature, seal or stamp is from an Irish public official / body and issues a physical apostille stamp/seal on the document. Only documents originating in Ireland and/or having a clear Irish link can be apostilled.
We recommend that you contact the authorities in the country where the document will be used to find out if you require an apostille.
Further information on apostille service can be found on Department of Foreign Affairs Website
Swords Notary can arrange to have documents apostilled at an extra charge. This process takes time. The quickest way is a personal call to the Department.
